Edited by Sir John Thomas Gilbert and Lady Gilbert and published by Dublin Corporation in 19 volumes between 1889 and 1944 The Calendar of Ancient Records of Dublin is an invaluable resource to historians and genealogists. The Calendar contains transcripts and translations of documents from the city's archives for the period 1171 to 1841. This particular volume contains the Assembly Rolls for the city of Dublin covering the years 1752-1760. The volume also includes a 1752 description of the City of Dublin and a 1755 illustration of Essex Bridge. This is the ninth volume of this series to be made available from the Irish Family History Centre research library with more to follow.
