- The Association holds regular Webinars/ Podcasts/ Online discussions. You can delve deep or dip your toe into any subject of interest, and keep yourself up-to-date with best practise.
- The APG publishes a magazine - the APG Quarterly. All Members can contribute articles, It’s a chance to get published.
- The E-Newsletter is a good way to promote your own events every month to an international audience.
- The APG Directory allows you to source and place a professional researcher in an archive overseas, quickly.
- The APG is broadly representative of the profession as a whole and is not dominated by any one sectional interest.
The other big advantage Irish genealogists can gain from APG membership, is by holding our own regular social events.
It's a chance for all of us to step away from the everyday, and meet up.
Even more importantly, it's a chance for all of us to take ownership of the Association (APG) that we're members of.
We have further socials planned in 2017, in Dublin and Clare.
